Jason Kidd, Jeremy Lin have Knicks pondering point guard situation

The biggest name in the NBA’s offseason rumor mill may belong to a towering center, but it’s the point guards who appear to be running the show in the final days before free agency officially begins. One day after losing out on the Steve Nash sweepstakes, the New York Knicks addressed their back court needs by nabbing another accomplished veteran in Jason Kidd. The 39-year-old reportedly spurned the Dallas Mavericks to bolt for the Big Apple where he could be key role player off the bench.
