Images of what is claimed to be an “iPhone 5 engineering sample” were published on Tuesday afternoon, adding support to earlier rumors that Apple is prepping a taller iPhone with a larger display for launch this fall. The anonymously sourced photos published by GottaBeMobile are said to be an engineering sample obtained from a factory in China. The metal sample very closely resembles the look and shape of rumored next-generation iPhone cases that have been photographed and handled on video in recent months.
