New York Times fuels the iPad Mini rumor fire

The New York Times is reporting that Apple is preparing to release a less-expensive iPad model later this year, joining several media outlets claiming to have insider information of Apple's plan to release an iPad with a 7.85" screen. The New York Times' sources say Apple is working on the so-called "iPad mini" and that it will "significantly cost less than the latest $499 iPad."
