I think we can piece this thing together now. On July 20 it was reported that Tim Sylvia had signed a contract with Strikeforce to fight Daniel Cormier, fulfilling the final fight on "DC's" contract before he could move over to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). The very next day, UFC President Dana White told The Underground that Sylvia was not, in fact, with Zuffa and he wouldn't be fighting Cormier after all.
