The upcoming Wii U incarnation of Super Smash Bros. will not include "complicated controls just for the sake of it", the series' boss has promised.
Smash Bros. godfather Masahiro Sakurai made the comments while discussing how the series will translate to Nintendo's new touch-pad console.
"The game system itself is complete, so we don't want to make it 3D or introduce complicated controls just for the sake of it," Sakurai told IGN.
