New car sales figures put Toyota Australia on track for one million hybrid sales this year, while Skoda's Australian arm cracks 10,000 sales. Toyota is likely to reach a landmark one million worldwide hybrid sales in 2012, according to results to the end of June. The Japanese carmaker sold 630,048 Toyota and Lexus petrol-electric hybrids in the first half of the year, eclipsing the 628,989 total for 2011.
