Russell Crowe had to be bailed out by the U.S. Coast Guard over the weekend after a kayaking trip went wrong off the coast of New York's Long Island.
The star, who is in the area filming Darren Aronofsky's Noah, launched from Cold Spring Harbor Saturday afternoon, but got lost at sea as it grew dark.
Crowe and a friend managed to make their way to shore, beaching their kayaks in Huntington Bay, nearly 10 miles east from where they had set out.
