The fallout from Clint Eastwood’s address at the Republican National Convention (RNC) continued on Monday when conservatives celebrated what they called “National Empty Chair Day.” Eastwood addressed the RNC on its final night accompanied by an empty chair, meant to represent President Obama. Twitter duly lit up with responses, many comical, with the hashtag #Eastwooding trending.
