The Republic of Ireland will take on Oman next Tuesday (September 11), in an international friendly to be played at Fulham's Craven Cottage. The game will come four days after Ireland begin their World Cup 2014 qualifying campaign against Kazakhstan, and it will provide coach Giovanni Trapattoni with an excellent chance to give his squad further playing time ahead of the next round of matches.
