Meteorologist Monica Tassoni is joining WSFA, the NBC affiliate in Montgomery, Ala., next month.
Tassoni joins the station from KTAB in Abilene, where she is the meteorologist for the morning and noon newscasts. She replaces Jeff Jumper, who left the station to be with his family in Pennsylvania.
“I must say Monica is a quality meteorologist who really knows her science and is a true weather forecaster,” WSFA news director Scott Duff said in a statement.
