Amla leads South Africa to 309-3 against Zimbabwe

Hashim Amla helped himself to a 15th one-day international hundred as South Africa eased to 309 for three in the first game of a three-match series against Zimbabwe on Sunday. Amla batted through the innings to finish unbeaten on 122 from 132 balls, and shared in century stands with fellow opener Quinton de Kock and number three Faf du Plessis. Seamer Neville Madziva and 19-year-old all-rounder Luke Jongwe were both handed international debuts by the hosts, and both struggled against an aggressive De Kock.
