Clark Art announces gift of Japanese woodblock prints from the Rodbell family

The Clark Art Institute announced today the gift of sixty-three Japanese color woodblock prints dating from 1832 to 1971. The gift comes from long-time Clark docent Adele Rodbell of Richmond, Massachusetts. The Rodbell Family Collection enhances the Clark?s current holdings of Japanese prints and provides new exhibition opportunities as well as insights into and new perspectives on works in the Clark?s collection.
