Bosch Australia Boss Calls For Autonomous Technology To Be Fast-Tracked

On the eve of a Driverless Vehicle Conference in Adelaide, Bosch Australia boss Gavin Smith has called for the technology to be fast-tracked. Speaking at the Australasian Road Safety Conference on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Mr Smith said autonomous cars have the ability to dramatically reduce the road toll. Removing the human element from decision making behind the wheel, Smith said, has the potential to better the likes of ABS or ESC as one of the single biggest leaps forward in road s.
