At its Taiwan and Hong Kong launch event, ASUS announced that the 5.7-inch ZenFone 3 Deluxe will be the first phone to be powered by the Snapdragon 821 SoC, which offers a quad-core Kryo CPU cluster clocked at 2.4GHz.
As noted by Engadget, the high-end variant of the ZenFone 3 Deluxe will offer the Snapdragon 821, along with 6GB of RAM as well as 256GB of UFS 2.0 flash storage (and a microSD slot!), with retail pricing in the vicinity of $780.
The high-end version of the Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe (with 256 GB of storage and 6 GB of RAM) will now launch with the Snapdragon 821, not the Snapdragon 820.
