Morning Digest: Trump chooses Mike Pence and throws Indiana's gubernatorial race into disarray

Leading Off: ? IN-Gov: On Friday, Donald Trump announced that Gov. Mike Pence would be his running mate on the GOP's presidential ticket. Pence was already the Republican nominee for governor of Indiana, but state law prevented him from appearing on the ballot twice, meaning that Pence had to withdraw from the gubernatorial race to join Trump. He did so just ahead of the July 15 deadline.
