Endangered Brutalist icon in Sydney may live to see another day

Hundreds marched over the weekend in protest against the government’s inaction The 1970s era Brutalist Sirius building in Sydney, Australia that was in danger of being demolished because it failed to gain heritage protection from the government might just live to see another day. According to Dezeen, Unions NSW (New South Wales) and the Construction, Forestry, Mining and Energy Union have prohibited construction workers from working on the site, which means that they will not be able to demolish it.
