Unbelievable 3-on-3 OT sequence has Team North America living another day in the World Cup

We are all witness. We may have just witnessed the greatest 3-on-3 overtime in hockey history. With Team North America fighting for their World Cup lives against Sweden in overtime, an incredible sequence of events culminated in probably the filthiest goal in this tournament off the hands of Nathan MacKinnon. First, goaltender John Gibson made a huge save on a Daniel Sedin breakaway that would have ended North America’s chances right then and there.
