Anthony Davis tells 49ers he's retiring for second time in 15 months

San Francisco 49ers tackle Anthony Davis is retiring — again (AP). Once again, Anthony Davis has informed the San Francisco 49ers that he no longer wants to play football. Davis, 26, considered retirement prior to the 49ers’ first game after initially stepping aside from the game in June 2015, citing health reasons. On Monday, he did note waver — he no longer plans to play.
