Sherpa Missing After Avalanche Hits Mountaineering Expedition On Himlung Himal In Nepal

Himlung Himal, Nepal – On the afternoon of Tuesday, September 27, an avalanche hit a mountaineering expedition near Camp II on Himlung Himal (7126m) in Nepal. The Department of Tourism has confirmed that Mingmar Sherpa of Taksindu -5, Solukhumbu, a climbing Sherpa, is missing after the incident ( The 8-member expedition was managed by Active Holiday Treks.
