Why the PPA Is Dying

After a tough end to the last decade, solar has been surging due to the explosive combination of falling prices and easily available financing. This is, of course, wonderful news for anyone worried about our ability to reduce carbon emissions without damaging our economy. In order to hit the aggressive pollution reduction targets set last December at the Paris climate talks, renewable energy sources must continue to beat traditional sources on both price and attractiveness of financing.
