Wayne Rooney: ‘Beginning of the End’ for Manchester United Captain, Warns Ex-England Striker

Arsenal great Ian Wright has warned that Wayne Rooney is at the “beginning of the end of his career” after he was dropped by Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho. Rooney, the England captain, came on in the latter stages of United’s 4-1 victory over Leicester City on Saturday. He missed starting the game following a protracted period of poor form at the start of the season.
