A professional motorcycle competition over the weekend in Santa Rosa turned deadly for two young riders visiting California for the flat-track race, event officials said Tuesday.
Charlotte Kainz, 20, and Kyle McGrane, 17, were killed after sustaining injuries in separate races, according to AMA Pro Racing, the organization that ran the Sunday event at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds.
