Newswire: FX will be cured of The Strain after one more season

FX came down with a bad case of the Strigoi back in 2014, when Carlton Cuse’s adaptation of The Strain premiered. Since then, the network’s struggled to develop an immunity to or otherwise ward off the parasitic creatures; it’s aired three seasons of the show, the latest of which is currently underway. But FX has had its best men on working on a cure—no, not Eph (Corey Stoll)—and it looks like the tide is turning.
