Longtime Dive Bar Longbranch Inn Closed Down

With an eviction notice Longbranch Inn, the longtime historic dive bar on East 11th Street, has shut down, as pointed out on Reddit and several tipsters. Calls to the bar confirmed that the number is disconnected. There is an eviction notice from Travis County placed at the door, citing that owner Jim Stockbauer had to leave the address by September 24 at 2 p.m. A tipster pointed out that Longbranch Inn is included in the TABC's Credit Law Delinquent List.
