Since the passing of Jose Fernandez, the outpouring of support has been nothing shy of astonishing. His story hits home with all of those who knew him and those who loved him from afar. Aledmys Diaz, who plays for the St. Louis Cardinals, was one of Jose’s best friends, having played baseball together since they were young and living in Cuba. Always thought this was a gem.
