4-Star recruit pledges to Colorado Buffaloes basketball

It’s official: Colorado men’s basketball coach Tad Boyle is bringing a highly decorated freshman class to Boulder in 2017. On Tuesday the Buffaloes received their third verbal commitment from a four-star recruit in the past three weeks, as Evan Battey pledged his commitment to Boyle’s program. A 6-foot-7 forward out of Villa Park, Calif., Battey joins a 2017 CU freshman class already expected to feature Tyler Bey and Colorado Springs native D’shawn Schwartz.
