Our duty now is to find another way to stop Assad winning the war It’s a terrible thing to say, let alone to think, but anyone who cares about the plight of the civilians in Aleppo, and particularly the children, has to wonder now whether the best thing to bring the suffering to an end would be a quick victory for Bashar al-Assad.
