Blow up: iPhone 7 Plus uses digital zoom instead of optical more often than you'd expect

When you use the built-in Camera app, the iPhone 7 Plus doesn’t act like it has two distinct cameras each with its own lens. Rather, it shows you a single virtual camera that combines input from two lenses.
