Greg Hardy's drug arrest should close door on faint hopes of a return

Usually, talented players in their prime get second, third and fourth chances by NFL teams, no matter what has happened to them off the field. So it was telling that Greg Hardy was never signed this offseason. Hardy, who had a domestic violence arrest and NFL suspension in 2014 and was reportedly a disruption in the Dallas Cowboys locker room in 2015, barely drew any attention as a free agent this offseason.
