SF’s Noe Valley hit by power outage

Nearly 8,000 homes and businesses in San Francisco’s Noe Valley lost electricity Wednesday morning after the Pacific Gas and Electric Co. received reports of a power pole on fire in the area. Crews responded to calls of electrical outages that affected over 7,000 people throughout San Francisco’s Noe Valley on Wednesday morning. At 10 a.m., PG&E received word that 7,775 customers were without power in the neighborhood, said Andrea Menniti, a spokeswoman for the utility company.
