Canadian Punk Legends NoMeansNo Announce Retirement

Canadian prog punk band NoMeansNo have announced their retirement. In a Facebook post, the band’s drummer John Wright wrote that “a lingering hiatus has become a permanent one.” Wright and his brother/bassist Rob formed the band in Victoria, British Columbia in the late 1970s. They self-released their debut studio album Mama in 1982. Their final record, All Roads Lead to Ausfahrt, came out in 2006.
