AMD Can Take Share from Nvidia in GPUs, Says Wells

Wells Fargo’s David Wong today reiterates an Outperform rating on shares of graphics and microprocessor maker Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), and reiterates his Underperform on Nvidia (NVDA), arguing that the former will take share from the latter as it rolls out newer “high-end” graphics chips, or GPUs. Wong, after reviewing data on GPU market share from Mercury Research, notes that AMD has already made gains.
