Subaru Outback And Liberty Recalled For Wiper Motor Meltdown

subaru has recalled various liberty and outback models in australia this week, due to a potential problem with the front wiper motor. the carmaker has identified a weakness with the bottom cover of the motor, which could melt. should this occur, a fire hazard may be present under a worst-case scenario. subaru says obstructions to the wiper arms, such as snow or ice, may prevent the arms from properly returning to the ‘park’ position.
