Brisbane postpones vote on mega development

Bay Area advocates for more housing attended the meeting and one of them, Tim Colen, executive director of the San Francisco Housing Action Coalition, said “There were more speakers in favor of housing than those saying ‘No, no, no.’” Many Brisbane residents favor a “community alternative” plan, which would create over 8 million square feet of commercial/industrial space, but no housing.
