Much to Learn

I walked into the REI store four miles from my home and gasped. The class was set up right there in the front, right in the middle of the bike department. Seats for all, and a wheel for flat-changing practice behind each one. It was way more exciting than I expected. One by one, those like me (men, women, black, white, younger, older, with and without turbans -- all bike riders) who had registered for this free hour-and-a-half class trickled in.
