The Album, 1895 by Molly
The Album, five panels that Edouard Vuillard created in 1895 for Thadée and Misia Natanson. The paintings hung in the Natansons' home until financial difficulties forced their sale in 1908. The Metropolitan Museum's presentation of this exhibition marks the first time the entire series has been reunited in almost 100 years.
