FASTER, PLEASE: ‘Artificial pancreas’ for type 1 diabetes wins FDA approval. It’s basically an insulin pump with a glucose sensor, which I’d say is only about 75% of an artificial pancreas. But still better than a pump that has to run on a timer or manual control.
