Bills place Sammy Watkins on injured reserve

The Bills offense is last in the NFL in passing yards and is now without its most dangerous receiving threat. Continued problems with recovery from a fractured foot sent Buffalo Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins to the injured reserve on Friday, the team announced. Watkins, 23, suffered the injury in May, but it wasn’t considered serious or even something that would cost him time in training camp.
