Play to the whistle, everyone. Cam Newton apparently thought he was going to stroll into the end zone on a two-point conversion in the fourth quarter against the Atlanta Falcons, so he slowed up. Falcons linebacker Deion Jones kept playing though, and slammed into Newton right as he (barely) crossed the goal line. Newton never seemed to see Jones, but it wouldn’t have been an issue if Newton ran into the end zone instead of easing up.
