Michigan State’s Ben Carter out for extended period of time

The Michigan State front court has taken a hit. On Monday, the Spartans announced power forward Ben Carter, a graduate transfer from UNLV, will be out for the foreseeable future. Carter injured his knee over the weekend and it will require surgery. While there is no official time frame for his return, Michigan State expects the 6-foot-9 forward to miss “an extended period of time.
