'Dynasty' Is Getting The Reboot Treatment Because No TV Show Is Safe

”Dynasty” is the latest TV series to get the reboot treatment, thanks to The CW. The network is set to develop a new version of the iconic series, which ran from 1981–89, with the help of “Gossip Girl” writers Stephanie Savage and Josh Schwartz, Deadline reports. If anyone can turn “Dynasty” into a modern soap worth watching, its Savage and Schwartz, who, along with Leighton Meester, brought the headband-wearing HBIC Blair Waldorf to life.
