Stanford in a league of its own for funded startup grads

SILICON VALLEY — In the venture world, the Bay Area eclipses the rest of the world regarding startup founding and funding. Much the same can be said for how Stanford University compares to other colleges and universities, regarding who produces the most funded startup founders, according to a new report from TechCrunch on Monday. It shows that 225 companies founded by Stanford graduates have succeeded in raising funds so far this year, far more than from any other school.
