WhatsApp Adds Fun Camera Tools to Messaging App

Facebook-owned WhatsApp this week rolled out new features to its messaging application. Specifically, users can now write or draw on photos and videos, as well as add emoji to posts to give them character. The editing tools pop up automatically every time users choose to share an image or video. WhatsApp also now supports the user-facing flash on compatible phones. When people take a selfie through WhatsApp, the app can fire off the flash to improve exposure.
