Iraqis Push to Sue U.S. over Invasion

Less than a week after the U.S. Congress overrode President Barack Obama's veto of the bill to allow 9/11 victims sue Saudi Arabia, an Iraqi group is citing the new law to push the Iraqi parliament into seeking compensation from the U.S. for actions taken during the U.S.-led invasion of their country. Citing how the Congress has given American civilians the opportunity to get compensation from "individuals" and "foreign nations," the group Arab Project in Iraq said Iraqis deserved the same treatment.
