Hartford Launches Smart Beta REIT ETF

Last month, real estate investment trusts (REITs) became their own index group, separate from financials, which caused changes in ETFs and other products. Apropos of this change, as well as the increasing interest in smart beta ETFs, Hartford Funds is launching the industry’s first US-focused REIT ETF. The new offering is the Lattice Real Estate Strategy ETF (RORE), under the banner of the firm Hartford acquired earlier this year.
