New York City Street Named After the Ramones

On October 23, street in Queens, New York will be renamed after the Ramones. Soon to be called Ramones Way, the street is at the intersection of 67th Avenue and 110th Street, in front of the main entrance of Forest Hills High School, where original members Johnny, Joey, Dee Dee, and Tommy Ramone all attended. Ramones Way was introduced by New York City Council Member Karen Koslowitz and approved by the council this past summer.
