Citi’s William Katz and Jack Keeler reiterated a Sell rating on Och-Ziff Capital Management (OZM) Tuesday, citing the asset manager’s “challenging” end to the third quarter.
Katz and Keeler write that the firm’s $36.9 billion of assets under management as of Oct. 3 marked a 6% month-over-month decrease. He admits that the company’s multi-strategy performance was “solid” with its Master Fund outperforming the S&P 500, but that this was more than offset by continuing outflows.
