Janus Still A Buy, And More Cross-Border M&A May Follow

Janus Capital Group (JNS)’s merger with Henderson Group got Wells Fargo’s approval earlier today, although the firm thinks that the shares have all the good news already priced in. However, Gabelli & Co. thinks that the stock is still a buy. Analyst Macrae Sykes reiterated a Buy rating, writing that the deal appears to be good for Janus, given the tax benefits, cost savings, and product diversification once it adds Janus’s products to its portfolio.
