The ‘green battery icon’ update brings a plethora of new emojis to the Galaxy Note 7

If you cast your mind back to a little over two weeks ago, you may recall that Samsung started distributing an update to the Galaxy Note 7. At the time, the firm announced that the upgrade merely introduces a ‘green battery icon‘ on units that aren’t subject to the recall. It failed to reveal, however, that it also brings Unicode 9 emojis to the handsets, in addition to compatibility for skin.
