Great, now the Chicago Cubs are screwed thanks to the new Sports Illustrated cover

The Chicago Cubs were supposed to end the pain. After a 107-year World Series drought, those lovable losers were finally supposed to put it all together and win the Fall Classic. Hell was going to freeze over, the whole thing. It was going to be awesome. It all shaped up so nicely. Kris Bryant, Anthony Rizzo, Addison Russell mashed all year and other role players in the lineup consistently executed, while Jake Arrieta and Jon Lester anchored a strong starting staff.
